COOKIE POLICY
Last updated September 22, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Alexandra Hughes LLC (doing business as Alex Hughes Capell) ("we," "us," and "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website at https://www.alexhughescapell.com ("Website"). It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and how you can control them.
Some cookies may collect information that is personal information, or that becomes personal information when combined with other information. For more on how we handle personal information, please see our Privacy Policy.
WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They help websites work properly and more efficiently, and provide reporting information to the website owner.
Cookies set by the website owner (in this case, Alexandra Hughes LLC) are called "first-party cookies." Cookies set by other parties are called "third-party cookies." Third-party cookies allow features such as analytics to be provided on or through the website.
We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage, which work like cookies by storing small amounts of information in your browser. In this policy, we refer to all of these as "cookies."
WHY DO WE USE COOKIES?
Our Website is hosted on Squarespace. We use cookies for two main reasons:
- Essential cookies are required for the Website to function and stay secure. These cannot be turned off.
- Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use our Website so we can improve it. These are only used if you accept them.
We do not use cookies for targeted advertising or retargeting, and we do not sell information collected through cookies.
HOW CAN I CONTROL COOKIES?
When you first visit our Website, a cookie banner will ask you to accept or decline non-essential cookies.
- If you click Accept, we will use both essential and analytics cookies.
- If you click Decline, we will use only essential cookies.
You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's cookies for our Website, which will cause the banner to appear again on your next visit. You can also set your browser to block or delete cookies (see "How can I control cookies on my browser?" below). If you block essential cookies, some parts of the Website may not work properly.
